1. Who we are
VE Vault is operated by VELVET ELITE LTD (16933215), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Grosvenor House, 11 St. Pauls Square, Birmingham, England, B3 1RB ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at velvetelite@protonmail.com.
These Terms govern your access to and use of the VE Vault website, web application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated by reference.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales to use the Service. By registering you confirm that you meet these requirements.
VE Vault is a financial-tracking tool for independent creators, performers and freelancers. We do not host, distribute or monetise creator content of any kind and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any third-party creator platform.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at the email above if you suspect unauthorised access.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that breach these Terms.
4. The Service
VE Vault lets you manually record income, set targets, allocate savings into "vault" pots and view analytics based on the data you enter. All figures, projections and insights are generated from your own entries and are provided for information only.
We do not connect to your bank, payment processor or any creator platform, and we never hold, move or have access to your money. "Vault" pots are a budgeting label within the app, not a bank account, e-money account or regulated financial product.
5. Current free access
VE Vault is currently free to use. No card, subscription or payment is required for the features available in the app. Recording income, fees and reserve allocations does not charge, collect, hold or transfer money.
No new software subscription checkout is available during this free period. Any future paid service would be presented separately with its price and terms before you choose to purchase it. Existing records do not authorise a future charge.
If you have a question about a historical payment or cancellation, contact support. The Refund & Cancellation Policy preserves applicable cancellation and refund rights.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, interfere with its operation, scrape or reverse-engineer it, or use it to store unlawful material.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics and trade marks, is owned by or licensed to us and protected by UK and international intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal or business income tracking.
You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us a licence to process that data solely to provide, secure and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Not financial, tax or legal advice
Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice. Tax estimates use simplified assumptions and may not reflect your actual liability. You should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional and refer to official HMRC guidance. See our Financial & Tax Disclaimer.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or withdraw features with reasonable notice where practicable. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made in reliance on figures or projections shown in the Service. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of £100 or the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Download your data from Settings before confirming account deletion. Confirmed deletion removes your account and tracking records immediately, so those records cannot be exported afterwards. Cancel any ongoing subscription first; contact us if cancellation is pending or you need help with an erasure request. Separate billing and security records may remain, as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also rely on mandatory provisions of the law of your home nation and bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Consumers may also refer disputes to an approved alternative dispute resolution provider.
