"Vault" pots are labels for budgeting within the app. No money is held, transferred or safeguarded by us. Your funds remain wherever you keep them; VE Vault is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Tax set-aside figures use a single percentage you choose and do not account for the Personal Allowance, National Insurance, payments on account, VAT registration thresholds, allowable expenses, or Making Tax Digital requirements. Your actual liability may be higher or lower.

You remain solely responsible for registering for Self Assessment, keeping records for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline, and paying tax and National Insurance due to HMRC. See gov.uk/self-assessment-tax-returns for official guidance.

All outputs depend on the completeness and accuracy of what you record. We do not verify amounts against any platform or bank statement.

We strongly recommend that you consult a qualified accountant or tax adviser, particularly if your annual turnover approaches the VAT threshold, you earn income from outside the UK, or you are unsure how to treat any payment.
